Dr. Wendell Thompson

Dr. Wendell Thompson

Dean of Counseling & Clinical Supervisor

Dr. Wendell Thompson, Dean of Counseling & Clinical Supervisor for Pillsbury College & Seminary, is a native of St. Louis. He earned his Bachelor of Biblical Studies, Christian Master of Arts, and Doctor of Christian Counseling degrees from Pillsbury College & Seminary. He completed additional studies at Lindenwood University.

Dr. Wendell also serves as Director and Coordinator for FreeWay Project. He began working as an educator with FreeWay in 2004 and has conducted drug & violence presentations to over 20,000 K-12 students in the past ten years.

Wendell is the pastor Grace Family Outreach Church, St. Louis and resides in St. Charles County with his wife, Keisha.

Dr. Dawn Pahl

Dr. Dawn Pahl

Vice Chancellor for International Operations

Dr. Dawn Pahl, a native of South Africa, earned her Bachelor of Arts and Master of Science degrees in Nursing. She served many years in that profession, as well as teaching at Nursing Colleges and Universities. In 1991, she founded the Rest-a-While Cancer Ministries, a 40-bed hospice where she served as director for 17 years.

In 2007, Dawn and one of her three adult sons moved to Ecuador, and she enrolled as a distance learning student at Pillsbury College & Seminary. Completing her master’s programs in Biblical Studies, she has now earned both the Doctor of Ministry and the Doctor of Theology degrees, completing her 1,200-page dissertation: expository studies on every chapter of every book in the Old and New Testaments. Earlier this year, she founded the Cotacachi Bible College, where she serves as Chancellor and Bible teacher. She resided in St. Louis temporarily and now serves as Pillsbury’s Vice Chancellor for International Operations.
